Omrit Shimoni

With over 25 years’ experience in behavioral health services, Ms. Shimoni brings her leadership and clinical expertise into the role of Director of Quality Improvement and Strategic Initiatives at Jewish Community Services of South Florida (JCS), where she joined in April 2021. Additionally, Ms. Shimoni is serving as the agency’s Interim Clinical Director, overseeing the Adult and Children’s Outpatient Counseling and Psychiatric services.

Ms. Shimoni is a recognized as a Licensed Clinician and Qualified Supervisor in the State of Florida, and has worked in mental health and substance use levels of care for adults and children, including Residential, Partial Hospitalization Programs, Intensive Outpatient, Outpatient, and Preventive treatment.  She has experience in non-for-profit and private agencies, always ensuring clients receive the best quality care and focusing on developing clinical staff to reach their highest potential. She has held leadership roles in the positions of Program and Clinical Director, Chief Operations Officer, and Chief Executive Officer. Ms. Shimoni has served as a peer reviewer for the Council on Accreditation, and spearheaded licensing and accreditation processes, including CARF and the Joint Commission.

Ms. Shimoni offers the ability to motivate teams while ensuring quality systems are in place. She is excited about supporting JCS’ mission and delights in demonstrating the agency’s impact on children, adults, and families. Ms. Shimoni is grateful to contribute in her role while strengthening the organization and broadening the agency’s reach in serving the community.”
