Ana C. Martinez is the Assistant Vice President of Development for Miami Dade College Foundation. Previously, she was Chief Development Officer for Switchboard of Miami and before that, Senior Development Director at United Way of Miami-Dade. Earlier, she worked for Humana Health Care Systems in Customer Service and before that was a community newspaper reporter. She is an expert communicator with over 30 years of experience in strategic development, fundraising, public speaking, community relations, staff management, customer service and training. After graduating from Miami Dade College, she received her BS in communications from Florida International University, where she majored in journalism and minored in business administration. She is currently a member of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce Transportation Committee and  the Miami-Dade Beacon Council International Advisory Committee.
