Main Stage
“The world as we have created it is a process of our thinking. It cannot be changed without changing our thinking.”
― Albert Einstein
Change in today’s world is a constant. Whether we’re fixing problems, taking advantage of opportunities, or just trying to make our organizations – and ourselves – better, we all have to embrace change.
Our MainStage conversation addresses this big topic. Dr. Penny Shaffer, market president of Florida Blue, returns to the Ignite! conference to lead a discussion among three Miami nonprofit executive directors who are new (or newish) in their roles.
Join us for a stimulating conversation with Tania Castroverde Moskalenko of Miami City Ballet, Orlando Gonzales of SAVE, and Miriam Singer of Jewish Community Services.
It’s a conversation you won’t want to miss.

We’ve turned up the heat on this year’s Ignite! Conference, with a sizzling line up to tracks, sessions, and presenters.
There are so many reasons to join your fellow nonprofit professionals this year. For starters, our Mainstage Conversation features a conversation on the important subject of change in nonprofit organizations. Our friend Penny Shaffer, market president of Florida Blue, returns this year to lead a discussion with three executive directors who are new(ish) to their organizations: Tania Castroverde Moskalenko from Miami City Ballet, Orlando Gonzales from SAVE, and Miriam Singer from Jewish Community Services.
New this year is an entire track dedicated to technology in the nonprofit sector. We’ll start with an overview of the various technologies available to organizations, and continue the exploration of how we collect, manage and use data in decision making, and then onto to how to protect your organization against common threats.
There’s something for everyone for CEOs in our Ignited Leadership track, development professionals in our Fundraising on Fire and Fundraising Fundamentals tracks, and professionals of all types in our popular Strategic Engagement track.
So join us at Miami Dade College on May 13, and have your creativity, energy, and enthusiasm sparked.
